[Dreamy soft effect and CPL in one] Filter diameter 77mm (magnetic filter body + adapter ring set). The H&Y Cinematic CPL 1/4 is a special effects filter that combines a soft filter and a polarizing filter in one. It was designed under the supervision of Kazuya Seki, who shoots portraits, landscapes, and videos.
[Two Effects in One] The CPL filter removes and emphasizes reflections, while the White Promist filter softens and creates a cinematic finish. For portraits, you can adjust reflections on hair and skin, as well as foreground and background reflections. For landscapes, you can adjust the reflections and color contrast of rock surfaces, trees, and water surfaces.
[Two levels of strength available] 1/4 and 1/8 (1/4 is a stronger effect, 1/8 is a weaker effect). The White Promist filter achieves its effect by diffusing light with white granular diffusing material kneaded into the glass, so its greatest feature is that it diffuses light evenly, softening the overall image without compromising sharpness.
[Magnetic Attachment] Attach the included magnetic adapter ring or the separately sold magnetic MRC UV filter to your lens for instantaneous filter attachment and replacement. You can also use the same size magnetic H&Y ND filters, night filters, lens caps, and more.
[For both video and still photography] Compared to Black Mist, White Pro Mist's effects are more noticeable even during the day, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, including portraits, video, tabletop photos, landscapes, and snapshots. It also reduces surface reflections by eliminating the need to stack two filters.
