Frontline TRI ACT Dog is a medication containing fipronil and permethrin in the form of pipettes. It acts against 5 parasites : fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, sandflies and biting flies. It has a knock-out effect on fleas in 5 minutes. Fleas are killed in 6H during the entire period of effectiveness, which allows for a preventive action against infestation of the habitat because the fleas are eliminated before having time to lay eggs (fleas lay eggs in 24-48h). The duration of insecticidal effectiveness is 1 month for fleas and ticks and an insecticidal effectiveness of 3 weeks against mosquitoes and sandflies as well as 5 weeks against biting flies. FRONTLINE TRI ACT has a repellent effect of 4 weeks against mosquitoes, 3 weeks against sandflies, and 5 weeks against biting flies.. Ticks carry diseases such as Lyme disease and piroplasmosis. Sandflies can transmit leishmaniasis. Frontline Tri-Act helps limit the transmission of these diseases by fighting against the parasites that are vectors of them. It is only usable in dogs from 2kg and 8 weeks of age. Do not use on the cat. It may be advised during treatment for the control of dermatitis due to flea bite allergy.
