This is a genuine new "old stock" Knipex tool, specifically made for crimping high density D-Sub pins. However, I purchased it rather for its precisely made jaws, featuring a round-shaped insulation crimping part, and will be using it without the original contact locator. Definitely recommending the seller and will purchase more items from them in the future.
Upon receiving the product at my home, I was charged €36.10 in customs fees, supposedly coming from Japan. Why? All of this without any notification, no email, no message, nothing.
