Synopsis

To secure it, Captain Michael Burnham, commanding the Discovery, receives Red Orders from Admiral Vance.

Departing aboard the USS Antares to retrieve the artifact, they are overtaken by an unidentified duo, and a race for clues that transcends time, space, and dimensions begins.

■ Unique characters make an appearance, and original cast members also play a new role! First Officer Saru leaves Discovery once again and moves forward with his marriage to President Turina.

Burnham welcomes the experienced Raynor as her new first officer. Despite his frequent hostility toward Burnham and the others, Raynor gradually deepens his bond with the crew.

Tilly, now an instructor, also returns to the crew, and Culber awakens to a new side of himself through an experience. Burnham and her team pursue Mor and Raak. They discover that Mor is the daughter of Book's master, and Book sets out to find a solution. Raak, a Breen, is facing a problem that could spark a war between the Breen and the Federation...
