OUYAWEI Silver Skeleton Analog Mens Mechanical Automatic Self Winding Stainless Steel Band Watch Men's Wristwatch

The watch looks very nice, although it's quite large it sits very well on the wrist, it's no problem wearing it. I especially like seeing the spring tense up when I'm hand-winding it (it's automatic and with hand-winding). Not sure about the water resistance, wouldn't try and test that (it just says water resistant, so I'm guessing at most it can survive a bit of splash or hand washing if careful?). The negative is that small circle at 9 o'clock with the markings SPL, SIG, ALM etc. around it. Those markings here mean nothing and are markings from a Casio G-Shock - did OUYAWEI just take a G Shock dial and slap their logo on it? I don't understand what's going on with those markings, they clearly have no function here. It's a pitty cause it makes a perfectly nice watch (especially for the price) look like a children's toy.

Ordered this watch because it was on a crazy special, and I figured if there was even a remote chance that it was legit, it was a good enough price to that it was worth taking a chance. Fast forward to today, and my fiance threw a box at me when she walked in the house from work, and in it was a little black box with my watch inside. I'm actually quite impressed with the watch. I really like the sweep movement of the second hand. The only criticism that I can come up with, would be the thickness/weight of the band. But like I said, I had to come up with something to criticize. For the money, I'm impressed.

As usual the watch is beautiful but the metal band is junk. I have made it my policy to not purchase watches with a metal band anymore. As it is now i have six watches with metal bands and I'm going to have to replace all of them. Hopefully they actually post this review and not just delete it. I only buy leather band or else I will buy a watch with a metal band intending to replace the band from the beginning but that requires a very special watch! Lesson learned..

This is an extremely nice watch, easily worth twice the cost or more. It is mechanical and can be hand wound like watches in the past. The self winding feature works as well. I hand wound it and let it sit. It was still running two days later. You can see the gears turning inside from the front and back. Not a cheap watch!
