Flax seeds are sown in place or in pots, in partial shade, from April to July. When the plants have 4 to 5 leaves, transplant them, spacing them 10 cm apart. Protect young plants from frost before winter, then plant them out permanently the following spring, spacing them 30 cm apart. Flax will naturally reseed itself each year after its first planting.
