These pruning shears are handmade by skilled craftsmen and are characterized by their excellent sharpness and ease of use. Instead of the steel (S-55C) that is normally used in this type of scissors, Hitachi Yasugi Steel Shirogami is used with brazing on both the cutting and receiving blades, resulting in excellent sharpness that lasts for a long time.
One side of the handle protrudes like a knob, which acts as a stopper to prevent your hand from slipping up when cutting. At the same time, it becomes easier to apply force, so you can easily cut even slightly thick branches.
Furthermore, the mouth can be opened wide, allowing for smooth and speedy pruning.
Unlike the B-type scissors, which have a blade directly above the handle, this shears has an A-shape with the blade tilted slightly to the right, making it easier to prune above eye level and reducing the strain on your wrists.
