In Tokyo 2021, I had a rare opportunity to DJ with only Hariku Yamaku's songs. Normally, they carry a decent amount of equipment, such as effectors and mixers, to do live dub mixes, but it was a DJ set.

However, regardless of whether they were released or not, I was a DJ who played only songs that were completed once, and I thought it wasn't interesting for me. So, for 2 days until the flight, I recorded a dub mix of various songs, burned it on a CD-R, and brought it with me. After returning to Okinawa for a while, I listened back to that CD-R, and even though I felt that it was rough in various ways, it's fine to include that! I thought so I decided to distribute it. That is “Shima DUBPLATE for Tokyo 2021.”

Then another month and day passed, 2024. There was talk that they would make a record of this. it's awesome! It's great, but there are songs that are unsatisfactory and unsatisfactory in order to make a record. The translation is different between distribution and record. Since it's 2 mixes recorded in one shot, I thought I had no choice but to stack them. Select a song from the CD-R,

A2 “Ayahaberu” overdub a flute solo by ally MAKI TAFARI.

A4 “Turubaimun” was toasted by AKANMIMAN. It was his first time recording.

B1" Kuduchi Behshi overdubs noises and synths from hitting spring reverbs.

I also recorded a new dub mix for the record.

A3 “Pacific Dub” is personally the best song in Okinawan reggae history, a dub mix by remaking a redim of Ishigaki Yoshimichi's “Key Stone”.

B4 “Dub Season” is also a dubmix of “Shiki Dub Season,” which is a collaboration with their ally, Yukino Inamine.
