■What are the Japanese Mythology (Guardian Deity) Oracle Cards? These cards are based on the Kojiki, Japan's oldest historical record. While the Kojiki conveys the history of Japan, it also tells the stories of the Japanese gods, their courage, love, and growth. Through these myths, the gods begin to flourish within us. The 38 cards depict famous scenes from the myths. The guidebook includes a summary of the myth, explanations and exercises to deepen your dialogue with the gods, and messages from the gods.

■Why did I create these cards? I have been involved in the creation of several oracle cards in the past. Each time I completed a card, I would visit a shrine to offer my thanks. After completing the "Dragon Healing Oracle Cards" and visiting a shrine, author Tida Sato received the following message from Amaterasu: "I want more people to know about us..." From there, we began gathering materials. We learned a lot during the process of creating the cards, which further improved them. This experience filled us with gratitude and a strong desire to share these cards with the world. We hope that many people will use these cards to deepen their connection with the Japanese gods and bring them good fortune.

■How to Use Shuffle the cards thoroughly and draw one card. This card will become your guardian deity (shugogami). While referring to the cards and instruction manual, try performing the exercises and writing down your thoughts and feelings. We also recommend visiting a shrine dedicated to a deity you have a connection with. Deepen your connection with the Japanese gods in this way.
