The Discovery embarks on a dangerous quest in pursuit of the unknown entity causing the gravitational anomaly. In the Star Trek Universe, Discovery has shown connections with various series, and this season is packed with irresistible content for fans, including the appearance of "Kobayashimaru" and a spaceship named after a former great captain.

■ The regular cast members find themselves at various crossroads! Michael is now captain of the Discovery and faces a new crisis. Meanwhile, Book, who lost his home, acts only to exact revenge, putting him at odds with Michael and the others. Meanwhile, Saru, who had left the ship to start a new life, returns as first officer and supports Michael, but an unexpected turn of events unfolds. Tilly, who has shared the good times and the bad, also faces a turning point in her life.

■The Star Trek Universe continues to expand! The new series, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds," has also begun! The new series, featuring the same cast of characters from "Star Trek: Discovery," will begin streaming on Paramount+ in the US in 2022. The story takes place just before Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS), and centers around Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount), who appeared in Season 2, and the series' most popular character, Spock (Ethan Peck).
