Since its release in 1983, the G-SHOCK toughness watch has continued to evolve in search of insatiable strength. G-STEEL's GST-B400 is slim and has an improved design due to its thin module and carbon core guard structure. Further miniaturization of components and thinner modules have been achieved. While reducing thickness, it also maintains the high functionality of Bluetooth Ⓡ and solar power, and power consumption has also been drastically reduced. Additionally, the carbon core guard structure makes it the thinnest in the G-STEEL series (as of March 2021) while maintaining impact resistance. At 12.9 mm from the back to the top of the bezel, we were able to make it more than 1 mm thinner than the GST-B100. In terms of design, by reducing the button guard to the limit, a large stainless steel button that is slim yet easy to press is used. By applying different finishes to the top bezel and middle bezel, you can enjoy the difference in texture, and the finish is particular about the appearance. The lineup includes the GST-B400 with a silver case on the resin band, the GST-B400AD with a black IP bezel on the red evaporated dial, which is the symbol color of G-SHOCK, and the GST-B400BD with a black IP bezel applied to the case and band, and the GST-B400BD with blue vapor deposition on the dial. Due to the module's power saving, the texture has been improved with three-dimensional parts and evaporated dials.
