Unless otherwise described, the reduction value given in our catalog for vehicles with factory (serial) with the lowering suspension will be smaller by the value of the factory lowering. Unless otherwise described, the products in this catalog are not intended for vehicles with factory-fitted (serial) with a lifting suspension (e.g.. Offroad, Crossover packages).
When selecting the product, you should rely on the data in the TÜV certificate or the ABE document.
Before assembly, please compare the markings on the received product with the markings contained in the TÜV or ABE document (included in packages or available for download at www.eibach.com)
In case of any discrepancies in the set, do not assemble it - please contact the seller in such a situation.
Installation should be carried out in a specialized workshop with qualified personnel and appropriate tools.
Mounting position (up and down) is marked by a print – the arrangement of the text suggests the correct position.
After installing the springs / suspension components, the wheel alignment should be checked.
If the original shock absorbers are heavily worn, it is recommended to install new ones - standard or sports.
For Sportline series springs, we recommend purchasing sports shock absorbers, e.g.. Bilstein B8.
All wheel / tire combinations permitted by the manufacturer can be used after installing the springs.
Depending on the engine version, gearbox, equipment, and manufacturer tolerances, the lowering values may differ by a few mm from the values indicated in this catalog. The value of the reduction will be relatively lower in the case of a standard (factory) reductions.
The application of our products relates to series vehicles. In case of modifications made to the car or additional equipment (This also applies to original products, offered optionally by the car manufacturer!) such as an reinforced braking system (e.g.. ceramic discs), wheel mounting with one central hole, sports suspension, LPG installation etc.. - it is possible that the installation of our products will not be possible. All data provided refers to factory-new vehicles. Measurement points: straight line connecting the center of the hub to the lower edge of the fender. These are approximate values - they may vary depending on the vehicle.
If the standard suspension in your car has electronic damping force adjustment, using the B12 or Pro-Street-S suspension means losing this function.. The error displayed on the trip computer after installation can be removed at an authorized dealership.. If available for your car, we recommend using the Pro-Tronic kit to remove the error.
