This is a used item. Black Hmong handmade indigo-dyed & embroidered motif stole (ethnic clothing) Black Hmong indigo dyed and embroidered motif stole (handmade).

Purchased in Vietnam. Sapa, a mountainous area near the border with Yunnan, is dotted with villages where people of Hmong origin live. Although the materials of the traditional costumes preserved in the museum are modern, it is a very nice sight to be able to see how they are worn.

Indigo dyeing is also done by spinning thread using traditional methods. The geometric patterns and vivid fluorescent coloring embroidery and motifs are very attractive. The linen material makes it comfortable in the summer, and I think it gets softer and more comfortable with your skin each time you wash it.

You can freely arrange it for interior decoration such as tapestries and table tops.

I own several, but this one was fun just looking at it in my room without wearing it. I found this at a shop with a very nice selection of handmade items. I love the atmosphere of the embroidery threads and motifs. I would like to give it to someone who is interested.
