The latest bewood collection is inspired by minimalist geometric shapes. Designed for us by Agnieszka Rogozińska, the Geometric Animals line features unique designs for those who value simple form combined with good, original design. Popular animal motifs combined with the unique beauty and richness of our woods create a perfect blend where everything complements each other. The Geometric Animals line is part of a broader collaboration project with young Polish creators. I come from near Szczecin. Throughout my childhood, I dreamed of becoming a clothing designer, and fortunately, I succeeded. I have recently started my own company called To Moje. My fascination with geometry, symmetry, and the animal world led to the creation of a series of my own patterns, which was initially intended to be just part of my master's degree. Due to the positive reception of the graphics, I decided to continue working, which is why the family of geometric animals is constantly growing. Made in Poland We produce in Poland and we are proud of it! All wooden cases are made in our headquarters located near Warsaw. We work hard on the creation of each wooden case, from design to packaging and shipping to the customer. We take full responsibility for our goods and are 100% confident in them, because the entire complex production process rests in our hands. Materials We make every wooden case unique. We craft it from carefully selected wood, which we source in Poland and also find in the farthest corners of the world.Merbau (Intsia bijuga) – Merbau wood is obtained from two species of trees - Intsia bijuga (Colebr.) Kuntze and l. palembianca Miq. Merbau trees are native to equatorial, extremely humid climates, primarily in the tropical forests of Oceania and Southeast Asia (Myanmar, southern Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Malay Peninsula, the states of Sarawak, Sabakh, and Kalimantan on the island of Borneo, Indonesia (Sumatra, Sulawesi, the Moluccas and West Irian), the Philippines, New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands). These trees grow to 40-45 m tall, and their trunks are covered with gray, peeling bark (gray-brown to light brown-red where peeling occurs), approximately 1 cm thick. The trunk, which can reach 70-150 cm in diameter, and sometimes even more, is often branchless up to a height of 5-10 m. Freshly sawn merbau wood has a distinctive earthy odor. A characteristic feature of merbau wood is that some of the vessels are filled with a yellow, shimmering dust, which, under transparent paint and varnish coatings, is deceptively reminiscent of fine gold inlays. Another element that diversifies the grain of this wood is the presence of relatively narrow, uniform wood rays. In Poland, it is used for the production of floors, countertops, stairs, furniture, and artistic carpentry. A rather unusual application is the production of handles and stocks for firearms (primarily hunting and sporting weapons) and musical instruments.Polycarbonate [used as the base/backing for our wood] – is a material characterized by dimensional stability, high stiffness, and thermal stability. It is odorless and has excellent impact resistance. It's matte and pleasant to the touch, making it the perfect finish for our wooden cases. TPU silicone [covering the sides of the phone on all four sides] – the most important feature that distinguishes this material is its high flexibility, which allows our cases to perfectly fit the shape of the phone. A case made of silicone will also be flexible across a wide range of temperatures, which is also important. Its excellent abrasion resistance is also very important. TPU silicone also absorbs impacts very well. The plasticity and durability of the material we use will ensure your phone is perfectly protected, and removing and installing the case will be simple and intuitive. Precision of workmanshipThe creation of each of our wooden cases is accompanied by a complex and time-consuming production process. We attach great importance to every, even the smallest, aspect of our case. We use top-of-the-line machines to cut and engrave wood, allowing us to achieve accuracy down to 0.01mm. A significant portion of the production is done by hand, which is rarely seen these days. Sanding, varnishing, polishing, and precisely gluing the wood are the result of hard work by our hands.
