Square Mango Wood Oil Burner – Hamsa

Light a tealight, add your chosen wax melt or essential oil blend, and let the room shift slowly into scent. This mango wood oil burner turns fragrance into a small evening ritual, with the Hamsa engraving bringing a quiet symbolic note to the warm flicker beneath the dish.

How the scent is released

An unscented tealight sits in the base, warming the dish above with a steady flame.

Use a wax melt, aroma granules, or a little water with a few drops of essential oil in the top dish.

The heat softens the wax or warms the water, allowing fragrance to drift through the room gradually.

Keep an eye on the dish as it warms, especially when using water and essential oil.

Its square shape gives the ritual a grounded, simple presence on a shelf, side table or quiet corner.

Engraved wood and Hamsa detail

The burner is made from mango wood, with the Hamsa symbol engraved into the side. The design feels earthy rather than ornate, letting the grain, square form and carved motif do the work.

Using it with care

Place the burner on a flat, heat-safe surface before lighting the tealight. Add your chosen melt, aroma granules, or water and essential oil to the dish, then let the flame warm it gently from below.

Never leave a lit tealight unattended. Keep the dish from running dry, and allow the burner to cool fully before moving or cleaning it.

The meaning of the Hamsa

The Hamsa is a hand-shaped symbol found across Middle Eastern and North African visual traditions, including Jewish and Islamic contexts. It is commonly associated with protection, strength and watchfulness, often placed near thresholds or worn close to the body as a meaningful sign. Here, it gives a simple home fragrance object a more contemplative character, turning the act of lighting a candle and scenting a room into something with a little more presence.
