Product introduction
■Product description
Pitch Fork allows you to transpose the pitch of your instrument over a range of +/-3 octaves, and can also play pitch up, down, or up/down simultaneously in three modes.
The amount of pitch shift can be selected using the shift knob, or can be controlled in real time using an expression pedal or CV controller.
The controls are very easy to understand and allow for intuitive operation.
The 11-step shift switch selects the scale to shift from detune to Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Minor 7th, 1 Octave, 2 Octaves, and 3 Octaves.
A 3-position toggle switch sets whether to play pitch up, down, or up/down simultaneously.
Dual mode outputs two pitch-shifted signals.
One of the signals changes with the shift knob in much the same way as in up mode, and the other signal follows it to create harmony.
A variety of settings are possible, including Major 3rd UP+Perfect 5th UP, Perfect 5th UP+1 Octave Down, and 1 Octave Up+1 Octave Down.
The blend knob adjusts the mix of dry signal and effect sound.
It also has an EXP jack, so you can use an expression pedal to control pitch and glissando.
The latch button switches between latch mode and momentary mode.
This button affects how footswitches and EXP inputs behave.
In Latch mode, the effect switches between ON and bypass when the footswitch is depressed.
The EXP input allows you to change the pitch shift amount of the connected equipment from unity to the pitch set with the shift knob.
In momentary mode, the effect is ON only when the footswitch is depressed, and goes into bypass when the footswitch is released.
The EXP input allows you to control the glissando rate of Pitch Fork's footswitches with connected equipment.
Glissando rate is the time it takes to reach the pitch set by the shift knob.
When the footswitch is depressed, the pitch changes from bypass to the set pitch, and when the footswitch is released, the pitch returns to unity at the same rate.
Glissando time varies between 4msec and 2sec depending on the heel to toe position of the expression pedal.
The default glissando rate when nothing is connected to the EXP input is 60msec.
Pitch Fork comes with an EHX 9.6DC-200mA adapter, but you can also use a 9V battery.
