This is the release of Accept's most unique and most significant live album.

Accept, Germany's leading heavy metal band, defined an era during the 1980s metal movement, then disbanded twice before reuniting in 2009. With a string of hit albums including "Blood of the Nations" (2010), "Stalingrad" (2012), "Blind Rage" (2014), and "The Rise of Chaos" (2017), the band is currently embarking on a second golden age.

One of Accept's musical hallmarks is their incorporation of classical music. Ulf Hoffmann (guitar), the band's brains, frequently incorporates classical music into his guitar solos, adding further individuality to Accept's powerful metal sound.

Ulf fulfilled his dream of playing guitar with an orchestra on his second solo album, the classical adaptation album "Headbangers Symphony," in 2016. In 2017, he was able to perform live with an orchestra at Wacken Open Air, one of the world's largest metal festivals, held in Germany. This idea was further developed into a special multi-stage show on the Wacken stage: Part 1, an Accept performance; Part 2, a solo performance by Ulf accompanied by the orchestra; and Part 3, in which the orchestra would combine with the main Accept band. Accept, which had previously incorporated classical music, finally combined with a real orchestra, breathing new life into their true heavy metal sound.

The concert was streamed live on August 3, 2017, the day of the show. It was the day before the release of Accept's latest album, "The Rise of Chaos," and the first part of the concert featured the debut of previously unreleased tracks from the album. It was a concert held with the world's attention on Accept.

"Symphonic Terror - Live at Wacken 2017" captures the concert in both audio and video. It combines Accept's signature "hardcore" metal show with the groundbreaking addition of an orchestra. This is a work that will write a new chapter in the history of heavy metal. [Includes Japanese commentary booklet]
