That's where a hovercraft comes in handy. Using its air cushion to glide over any surface—land, water, mud, ice—a hovercraft can transport emergency personnel to where they are needed most. The Ugears Rescue Hovercraft is a 1:24 scale wooden model. This DIY wooden model is powered by a spring motor, and the winding ratchet key is located under the boat's hull. Turning the engine 10 times clockwise with the start/stop switch activates the motor and rotates the twin thrust propellers.
