Agnes + Cat Botanical Soy Wax Candle – Lakeland Mocha

Think of a quiet kitchen before the day properly begins: roasted coffee, soft cocoa and an earthy depth that feels grounded rather than sweet. This scented soy wax candle brings that Lakeland-morning mood into a room, with a wood wick for a gentle fireside feel and a glass jar that sits neatly in your everyday space.

Roasted coffee, cocoa and damp-earth depth

The coffee note comes through warm and dark, closer to a fresh brew than a sugary café scent.

Cocoa adds roundness underneath, giving the fragrance a cosy, mellow richness.

Earthy tones keep it grounded, like mist over hills and rain-darkened paths.

The wood wick adds a soft crackle as it burns, bringing a little hearth-like atmosphere to the room.

It suits slow mornings, low evening light, and moments when you want the room to feel quietly held.

Soy wax with a wood wick

The candle is made with soy wax and a wood wick. Soy wax is plant-based and often chosen for its smooth, even melt, while a wood wick gives a different presence from cotton: a steadier, more textured flame with a subtle crackling sound.

Glass jar for a calm, simple setting

The candle is poured in a glass jar, keeping the look clean and easy to place on a bedside table, desk or low shelf. The warm mocha scent does the work without needing a busy vessel.

How to burn it well

Stand the candle on a heat-proof holder or plate before lighting. Trim the wick to about 5 mm each time, and let the wax melt evenly across the surface before putting it out.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from curtains, papers, dried flowers and anything flammable. Let the glass cool before moving it.

A scent rooted in slow mornings
