The fabric with its deep shibo is excellent in absorbency and quick-drying, making it a “cool material” suitable for Japan’s hot and humid climate, and has been loved since the days before air conditioning. Suzumen is a further improved, cooler version of this traditional Takashima Chijimi. ・【Not Sticky, Just Smooth and Comfortable】 Chijimi is a woven fabric with an uneven surface, and this unevenness is generally called “shibo.” The Suzumen fabric, developed independently, uses modern technology to create a deeper shibo.
