・This is a 1/43 scale, handmade model car of the “Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS 2007)” by 『EIDOLON (Aidoron)』. It is a model reproducing the pure sports grade “Porsche 911 GT3 RS” of the 997 generation.
・This GT3 RS, which could be called the “real deal,” has finally been released. In modeling the GT3 RS, a prototype was designed by docking sculpting data that accurately traced the characteristics of the GT3 RS—such as the front and rear bumpers, side steps, rear fenders, and engine hood—based on scan data of the actual vehicle monocoque (997 Turbo).
・The radiators glimpsed deep within the bumper ducts are constructed with two layers of etched parts to enhance the visual depth of the core. The headlights are painted after plating a white metal reflector, and newly molded parts are used for the lenses, which are engraved with fine grooves around the periphery.
・The wing is made of white metal, which is unusual for a 1/43 resin model car, but this material was chosen not only to allow for sharp molding of the parts themselves but also for its resistance to aging.
・The interior, one of the attractions of the GT3 RS, has also been meticulously crafted in terms of the shape, size, and texture of the bucket seats, and, combined with the roll cage throughout the cabin, reproduces the spartan atmosphere unique to Rennsport.
