Niceden Dental 1:5 Handpiece is a high-precision electric growth mobile phone designed for dental implant surgery. It uses a 1:5 gear growth system to increase the low–speed motor (20,000-40,000 RPM) to 200,000 RPM while maintaining a high torque output (15-25 N*cm). It is suitable for bone tissue cutting, implant implantation and fine processing of restorations.
Failure of the water spray system
1.Uneven water spray or insufficient flow
Cause: The sprinkler hole is clogged (scale or debris remains) or the water pipe is bent or the interface is loose.
Solution: (1) Disassemble the sprinkler pipe and use a special cleaning agent to remove scale.(2) Check the sealing ring at the connection of the water pipe and replace the aging parts.
2.Water leakage or abnormal water pressure
Reason: (1) The sealing ring is aging.(2) Cracking of waterway welding points (caused by high-load use)
Solution: (1) Replace the O-ring seal.(2) Return to the factory for welding and repair (please do not disassemble the nose by yourself to avoid safety accidents).
RPM and Power Abnormalities
1. Rotational speed fluctuates or fails to reach rated value
Cause:(1) Gear set wear.
(2) Low air pressure (air pressure < 0.2 MPa)
Solution:
(1) Replace the ceramic gear set. (2) Check the air pump output pressure and adjust it to 0.22-0.24 MPa.
2. Needle clamping instability (shaking or falling off)
Cause: (1) Pressing latch Spring fatigue (2) Oxidized deformation of the needle shank (non-standard needles)
Solution: (1) Replace the spring assembly. (2) Use only FG standard lathe needles (1.59-1.60mm).
Mechanical Component Failure
1. Bearing rattling or jamming
Cause: (1) Insufficient lubrication of ceramic bearing (not oiled daily) Daily oil injection) .(2) Dust intrusion (not using dust cover)
Solution: (1) Inject 0.3ml of medical grade lubricant daily.
(2) Check the sealing of the dust cover before operation.

1.Planting nest preparation
(1) Bone drilling: Drilling in type i-IV bones (from cancellous bone to dense bone), the speed is stable at 150,000-180,000 RPM, and it is cooled with saline water to avoid bone burns (temperature increase <1℃).
(2) Precise control: the error is ≤0.005mm to prevent damage to the inferior alveolar nerve or maxillary sinus.
2.Bone augmentation surgery
(1) Bone cortical trimming: used in conjunction with ultrasonic bone knives to reduce intraoperative bleeding and improve bone density.
(2) Guide bone regeneration: create a stable osseointegration environment for the implant.
3.Repair body grinding
(1) All-ceramic crown edge treatment: low-speed mode (120,000–150,000 RPM) to sharpen the edges to avoid porcelain cracking.
(2) Polishing of the implant platform: eliminate the slightly rough surface and reduce the risk of plaque attachment.
4.Surgery for complex bone conditions
(1) Patients with osteoporosis: high torque penetrates the cancellous bone and reduces the sliding of the drill needle.
(2) Immediate implantation: simultaneously complete the debridement of the tooth extraction fossa and the preparation of the implant fossa.
1.Preoperative preparation
(1) Equipment inspection
Needle clamping test: Press the tail of the needle to confirm that the clamping force is stable (no loosening or offset), and the clamping force range is 25–45N.
(2)Verification of the sprinkler system: Start the equipment and observe whether the four-point sprinkler evenly covers the area around the needle (covering area ≥90%).
(3) Interface connection: Connect the E-Type interface with the dental chair drive system to ensure air tightness and no leakage.
(4)Speed selection: Set the speed according to the bone density (Type i-III bone: 180,000 RPM; Type IV bone: 150,000 RPM).
(5) Disinfection and sterilization
Pretreatment: Remove the needle after use, and rinse the remaining debris with flowing water.High temperature sterilization: After packaging, it is placed in a pre-vacuum autoclave (135°C×4 minutes), and soaking and disinfection are prohibited.
2.Intraoperative operation
2.1 Planting nest preparation
(1) Positioning drilling: use a 1.59mm FG needle, touch the bone surface at a speed of 150,000 RPM, and enter the needle vertically to the design depth (error ≤0.1mm).
Pause 2mm for each needle inlet to check the cooling water coverage and the stability of the drill needle.
(2) Reaming operation: Replace the cracking drill (2.0mm), increase the speed to 180,000 RPM, and advance at a uniform speed to 0.5mm under the bone cortex to avoid penetrating the maxillary sinus or inferior alveolar nerve.
2.2 Bone augmentation surgery
Bone cortex trimming: Use ultrasonic bone knife (40,000 RPM) to synergistically trim the bone cortex, and 1:5 mobile phone synchronously cleans bone debris to reduce intraoperative bleeding.
2.3 Repair body grinding
All-ceramic crown edge treatment: Switch to 120,000 RPM low-speed mode, cooperate with silicon carbide turning needles, and adjust the grinding ring along the edge of the crown (needle inlet depth ≤0.2mm).
3.Postoperative maintenance
3.1 Equipment cleaning
(1) Waterway flushing: Immediately after the operation, reverse rinse the waterway for 20 seconds to remove residual debris (use a special flushing needle).
(2) Surface disinfection: wipe the body with a 75% alcohol cotton sheet to avoid liquid infiltration into the interface.
3.2 Lubrication and maintenance
(1) Bearing oiling: Inject 0.3ml of medical-grade lubricating oil (such as Biying RX-300) after daily use, and it is forbidden to exceed the amount (≤0.5ml).
(2) Gear inspection: Check the gear gap (standard value ≤0.01mm) every 1 month, and replace the gear set if it is abnormal.
(3) Sterilization verification: Verify the autoclave effect every month to ensure that the sterilization temperature is ≥134°C
