Description
Since its launch in 1983, G-SHOCK has pursued toughness and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023 with the limited edition "G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK" series. Inspired by milestones and stone monuments, the names of past models from the past 40 years are engraved on the band and finished in an all-black design. Each model's band features a hot-stamped print of the name of each successive model, showcasing advances in technology, structure, and materials, while the side button features a distinctive star mark, making this a special model commemorating the 40th anniversary. The bezels and bands of all models are made from biomass plastic. The backlight and case back feature the 40th anniversary logo, designed by Eric Haze, who also designed the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th anniversary logos, while the band ring is engraved with a star mark representing the number 40, making these limited edition models truly worthy of their status. A replacement bezel for the DW-5700 is also included, allowing you to enjoy both the classic 5600 and 5700 designs in one model.
