The "sshhmute" was designed by world-renowned cornetist Trevor Bremner. It's a masterpiece of a practice mute that doesn't just silence the sound.
Made from durable ABS resin, it won't dent or bend even if it's bumped, making it a mute you'll want to carry with you at all times.
It is extremely lightweight (approximately 180g), so you won't feel the weight of the mute even during long practice sessions.
It is slightly longer (approximately 19.0 cm) and has a larger capacity than a regular practice mute, so there is very little resistance and you can practice in your usual playing style.
The unique design overcomes the issues of pitch and tone when using a mute, allowing you to play with accurate pitch in any register.
