[Compatible Vehicles] Mazda CX-30 DM series, CX-60 KH series, CX-80 KL series
This digital mirror employs a next-generation digitally controlled "mirror LCD display." The mirror LCD display can switch between mirror and transparent states by turning the power on and off. When the power is off, the transmittance is low and the reflectance is high, resulting in a natural reflection similar to that of a real mirror. It becomes an easy-to-view mirror state with reduced reflection of ambient light. On the other hand, when the power is on, the transmittance becomes very high at approximately 80%, and the TFT LCD on the back is clearly displayed. This greatly improves the visibility of the image and is useful for checking safety while driving.
The mirror LCD system boasts an extremely high transmittance of approximately 80%, suppressing reflections from ambient light to just 8%. This high transmittance results in less glare from strong sunlight, providing a clear and easy-to-view field of view.
This product allows you to switch between "camera mode" and "mirror mode" depending on the situation. In camera mode, even if your view is obstructed by luggage or passengers in the back seat, you can always see clearly behind you thanks to the rear camera's image. On the other hand, mirror mode displays the interior and rear of the car just like a normal rearview mirror, making it convenient when you want to check on children or pets in the back seat or when you want to get an overview of the entire interior of the car. Unlike conventional products, the active area has been expanded to the maximum extent possible, so the display range does not change even when switching modes.
With 2-megapixel sensors on both the front and rear, it can clearly record even the finest details, such as license plates, traffic lights, and pedestrians. In the event of an accident or incident, it can be used as reliable evidence. Furthermore, the high frame rate of 60fps reproduces smoother and more natural-looking video compared to the typical 30fps. You can also clearly see the surrounding conditions while driving and the movements of following vehicles, and it provides stable video with less blur even when driving on highways or at night.
■ The rear camera is equipped with OMNIVISION's PureCelPlus image sensor. The PureCel Plus image sensor is a high-performance sensor that ensures high visibility even in challenging environments such as at night or in backlit conditions. Flicker reduction suppresses the flashing of LED headlights of following vehicles and traffic lights, preventing image flickering. Proprietary tuning delivers sharp and easy-to-view images even in dark places, and it clearly captures the surrounding situation even on roads with few streetlights. In addition, it is equipped with DCG (image stabilization) function to suppress image blur while driving. Furthermore, the HDR function prevents the diffusion of strong light and reduces glare from the headlights of following vehicles.
■ The front camera uses a Sony CMOS sensor with STARVIS2 technology. This significantly improves low-light performance and dynamic range compared to conventional STARVIS sensors. Even in challenging environments such as nighttime or backlit conditions, it records clear, natural-looking images with reduced noise.
■ The light sensor detects ambient brightness and automatically adjusts the screen brightness to make the display easier to see in dark environments such as at night or in tunnels. In addition, the "auto dimmer function" smoothly changes the screen brightness according to the time of day, allowing for a natural transition from dusk to night.
■ You can adjust the display range of the rear camera image in 9 steps vertically to match your field of view.
■The rear camera image can be enlarged in 5 levels. This makes it easier to judge the distance to following vehicles and is useful for checking safety when driving at high speeds or at night.
■By linking this product with your car's gears, the display will switch to a low-angle view when you put the shift lever into reverse gear.
■The heat generated by the chip during high-speed processing is efficiently dissipated by the heatsink structure, suppressing the thermal load. This ensures stable performance even during prolonged use.
■ Lane departure warning, forward approach warning, forward vehicle departure warning, and rear collision warning functions support the driver.
Lane departure warning
If a vehicle deviates from its lane at a speed of 50 km/h or more, the system detects the lane departure and alerts the driver with a "beep" sound and an announcement saying, "You have deviated from your lane. Please be careful."
・Forward collision warning
When driving at a speed of 50 km/h or more, if the distance to the vehicle in front becomes within 20 meters, a warning sound ("beep beep beep") and an announcement ("There is a risk of collision with the vehicle in front. Please be careful.") will alert you to the risk of collision.
• Warning alert for the vehicle ahead
While stopped, the system detects the vehicle ahead and alerts the driver with a "beep" sound and an announcement saying "Please pay attention to the road ahead" when the vehicle ahead departs.
・Rear collision warning
When driving at a speed of 50 km/h or more, if the vehicle behind you approaches within 10 meters for 5 seconds or more, a "beep beep beep" warning sound and an announcement saying "Please be careful of vehicles behind you" will be emitted.
■By using the optional constant connection cable (DOP51), you can utilize the parking recording function, which is ideal for monitoring hit-and-run incidents and vandalism while parked. Parking monitoring can be selected from "motion detection recording," "time-lapse recording," and "energy-saving recording."
*Motion detection recording, time-lapse recording, and energy-saving recording cannot be used simultaneously. You must choose one of them.
[Motion detection recording]
When motion is detected within the area during parking recording, the system saves 20 seconds of footage in total: 5 seconds before motion detection and 15 seconds after detection.
[Time-lapse recording]
This compresses 20 minutes of video recorded at 1 frame per second (1fps) into a 20-second playback time.
[Energy-saving recording]
It records video for 30 seconds after an impact is detected. Since it only records when an impact occurs, it consumes less power and is suitable for long-term parking recording.
