With its warm tone and smooth edges, this pedal supports bass plays that add undulation and movement to the entire song.
It not only distorts the sound, but also has the flexibility to change its expression depending on the bassist's attack, and the DRIVE control adjusts the response to compression and attack. If you set it low, the response will be high, and you can change the expression of the sound by making detailed expressions with your fingertips. Setting DRIVE higher will increase compression and create a more even sound. Even at maximum DRIVE, the sound doesn't become too crushed, allowing you to reach aggressive distortion while always maintaining the clarity of the bass sound.
Blackberry Bass OD features a new BODY control that allows you to adjust the midrange to adjust the bass guitar's place in the ensemble.
Furthermore, the DEPTH control allows you to control the low range and adjust the overall balance of the sound.
●Control
VOLUME: Adjust the overall volume. It can also be used to adjust the volume balance when turning effects ON/OFF.
DRIVE: Adjusts compression strength and attack response. Setting it low will give you an overdriven bass amp tone, and setting it high will give you an aggressive tone like a bass fuzz.
BODY: Adjusts the midrange where the presence of the bass stands out in the ensemble. Controls the bass position to match the balance of the song or ensemble.
DEPTH: Adjusts the low range tone. By adjusting it in conjunction with the DRIVE control, you can control the low-end response.
