■ Apply effects directly to your acoustic guitar sound
Equipped with Yamaha's proprietary "TransAcoustic" technology, this guitar utilizes digital technology while maintaining acoustic sound production. String vibrations are converted into electrical signals, processed, and transmitted to an actuator (vibrator) located inside the body, which then vibrates the entire guitar body. This allows you to generate effects through the guitar's own vibrations, without connecting an amplifier or speaker.
■ Two types of effects expand the guitar's expressive potential and produce a natural, natural sound.
Similar to the acoustic guitar's sound production method, the effects are generated by the vibration of the entire guitar, which then vibrates the air through the body, creating a unique soundscape that envelops the player. Two effects are available: a "chorus" effect that creates a layered sound, and a "reverb" effect that adds reverberation.
■Simple electrical system that minimizes the impact on sound
The electrical system, including the control switches and battery box, features a simple design. By minimizing modifications to the body that affect the sound, the guitar's natural tone is fully brought out.
