Designed for connecting wooden elements to increase the load-bearing capacity of the screw connection in structural elements. Original product of the renowned company SIMPSON Strong-Tie ® Product specifications [ dc ] outer diameter: 50 mm [ d1 ] central hole: 17 mm [ h ] tooth height: 6 mm [ h1 ] height: 12 mm thickness: 1 mm Package quantity: 200 pcs Benefits 1. Structural efficiency Bulldog spiked rings enable the design of connections using fewer tie bolts, which allows for maintaining appropriate spacing between bolts and from the wood edges. This increases the stability and safety of the structure while reducing the risk of material damage. 2. Versatility of use The product is available in a double-sided version for connecting wooden elements and a single-sided version for connecting wood to steel, making it suitable for a variety of structures and materials, including solid wood, composite and glued laminated wood. 3. Anti-corrosion protection The steel used to produce the rings is electrolytically galvanized Z 275 g/m2 (20 µm), which provides excellent protection against corrosion and extends the product's life even in difficult weather conditions. 4. Durability and connection strength Bulldog spiked rings provide strong and durable connections, which is crucial in structural elements requiring high load-bearing capacity. They also enable easy disassembly, which further increases the functionality and practicality of use in various construction and renovation projects. 5. Service class Characterized by material moisture corresponding to a temperature of 20°C and relative humidity of the surrounding air exceeding 85% only for a few weeks a year. Application and installation method Designed for connecting wooden elements to increase the load-bearing capacity of bolted connections in structural elements. Installation takes place while tightening the screw; the teeth are pressed into the wooden element. Screw installation always requires two washers. Certificate DoP- h10/0007 EN 145454: 200 8 Highest quality guarantee. This standard specifies requirements and test methods for materials, geometry, strength, stiffness and durability (i.e. corrosion protection) of fasteners used in load-bearing timber structures. The products we offer are characterized by the highest quality and can be safely used in construction. We make every effort to ensure that the products delivered to our contractors are safe and suitable for specific tasks.
