Thank you for choosing Dr. Hana's Nasopure®, the World's Most Comfortable Nasal Irrigator! Washing your nose with Nasopure helps clear your body’s filters of irritants like allergens, infectious particles, and pollutants that are the cause of most nasal problems. Nasopure manages and relieves symptoms associated with allergies, colds, flu, sinusitis, and rhinitis. It all starts with Nasopure’s patented ergonomic bottle design that allows the medicine to flow evenly along the base of your nose. This design eliminates the need to move or twist your neck, and avoids the “slump” feeling often associated with other nasal rinses. The secret is in the mixture! Nasopure’s ideal buffered saline solution clears nasal passages of excess mucus and debris while soothing irritated mucous membranes. Clear your nose naturally with Dr. Hana’s Nasopure! It’s simple, soothing, effective, and safe. You’ll love it!
Directions for Use: 1 pack makes 8 oz of isotonic (gentle) solution, 2 packs make a hypertonic (strong) solution. Read directions carefully before use.Washing the bottle and cap Always wash the Nasopure bottle and cap with clean hands before first use and after each use. Fill the bottle with warm, soapy water, replace the cap and shake several times. Open the cap and squeeze the bottle to force the soapy water out of the cap, completely emptying the bottle. Rinse thoroughly. Always wipe the cap with an alcohol pad after use. Dry the bottle and cap thoroughly. BeWell Health recommends replacing the bottle and cap every 3-6 months.Cleaning Details Nasopure bottles and caps are dishwasher safe, but sterilization is better. Wash thoroughly with soapy water once a week. BeWell Health recommends sterilization with a drop of bleach, isopropyl, or white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly!Mixing the Nasopure SolutionPlace the Nasopure salt pack in the bottle (see solution guide) and fill the bottle with water (see recommended use for purified water).Twist the cap against the bottle. Close by pressing the end. Stir until the salt dissolves. Discard any remaining solution after use. Recommended Purified Water Use: Boil: Use water that has been boiled for 1 minute and then cooled. If your altitude is above 6,500 feet, boil for 3 minutes and then cool. Filter: Use a filter that removes bacteria that can thrive in water. The label should say “NSF 53” or “NSF 58.” A filter label that says “pore size 1 micron or smaller” is also good. Purchase: Use water that says distilled or sterile on the label. Sterilize: If no other option is available, you can sterilize your water to make it safe to use. See the CDC website for instructions on sterilizing water. How to Use Nasopure Wash your hands before using Nasopure. You can use it in the shower, standing at a sink, in the woods, or off an airplane, train, or bike. Keep your head up and look straight ahead. You do not need to bend your neck. Place the tip of the bottle in one nostril. Point the tip toward your throat, not your eyes. Do not point upwards. It is best to have it at the level of the level mark. Hold the bottle so that the water level is at the level mark on the bottle (see illustration on the next page). Place the tip in your nostril, making a perfect seal. Inhale and hold your breath to block the back of your airway. While holding your breath, gently squeeze the bottle until the solution comes out of the other nostril. It may take some practice to learn how to block your throat so that the solution does not flow into your mouth and you do not get a salty taste. It is not harmful if the solution flows into your mouth. Gently squeeze the bottle so that the solution fills the bottom of your nostril and turns around in your throat to come out of the other nostril. You may feel a slight burning sensation the first time you use it. This is normal and not harmful. & It will go away after repeated use. Always start with isotonic and increase the intensity as you become accustomed. Close your mouth and exhale through your nose. Switch to the other nostril & repeat. Allow the water to drain naturally from your nose. Typically, use 1/4 to 1/2 bottle per nostril. Gently blow your nose. Do not pinch or press the other nostril while irrigating or blowing your nose. If the solution is stuck and cannot be drained, lean forward & gently turn your head from side to side. For helpful articles & video demonstrations, visit nasopure.com. For moderate to severe congestion, if only one nostril is blocked, gently irrigate the blocked side only! Do not force it. Use only a small amount of solution. It may take a few days for the swollen nasal passage to go down and allow the solution to drain out the other nostril. Never force it! If your child has a blocked nose (both sides) or an ear infection, consult a doctor before using. Recommended UseOnce daily for daily irrigation and exposure to irritants.Twice daily for mild to moderate congestion and symptoms.Three to four times daily for moderate to severe congestion and symptoms.ChildrenConsult your doctor first before teaching your child how to irrigate. Always consult a doctor before irrigating if your child has a blocked nose or ears, a middle ear infection, recurrent ear or sinus problems, a disability, or difficulty tolerating irrigation. For appropriate videos and helpful instructions, see the article at www.nasopure.com.Pour 1/2 packet of Nasopure salts into a 4 oz. bottle with the cap closed. Fill with purified, sterile, or pre-boiled water. Close the cap and shake until the salts dissolve.Have your child hold the bottle as directed, but do not squeeze it. Let your child gently squeeze a small amount of solution (about 1 teaspoon) into each nostril to clean themselves. Have your child follow the directions. Note: Let your child play with the bottle so he or she gets used to the feeling of spraying and then clean it first (see illustration on next page). Recommended Use Replace the bottle every 3 to 6 months. Blow more gently if the ear becomes blocked. Do not use right before going to bed or being active. Water may drain from the nose for several minutes after cleaning. Start with isotonic and increase the strength as you become comfortable. Do not share the bottle with anyone else. Nasopure bottles and caps are dishwasher safe. Clean the nose with Nasopure before using any prescription nasal spray. If your symptoms worsen or you have a serious medical condition, consult your doctor. If Nasopure causes discomfort, stop using and contact & BeWell Health or your doctor.
