2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Country of Origin: Japan. Mino ware is pottery produced in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture (Tajimi City, Toki City, Mizunami City). This is Japan's largest ceramics production center, accounting for approximately half of the country's ceramics production. This cute, round oven bowl with a pot-like handle can be used for oven cooking, as well as for soups and stews. It is microwave-safe, so you can reheat dishes. Perfect for serving cereal or fruit yogurt in the morning, or for making ajillo in the evening. Because each bowl is handcrafted, its appearance will vary. Due to the characteristics of the glaze, the surface may have a yellowish tinge or appear burnt.
