Its task is to hold one or more edges of the sail at the appropriate height and angle , ensuring effective shading of the selected area. Thanks to mounting holes located at different heights (225–235 cm), you can adjust the hook attachment point to the angle and tension level of the sail. The mast can be set slightly tilted, which increases its stability and effectiveness in draining water from the sail surface. FOUNDATION-FREE INSTALLATION The mast can be attached using the ground anchor or the foot for hard surfaces such as concrete. Both solutions eliminate the need to excavate the ground or pour a foundation – a quick and clean solution for any garden. ↕ ADJUSTABLE SAIL HEIGHT The mast is equipped with three levels of mounting holes (at heights of 225 cm, 230 cm and 235 cm), which allow flexible adjustment of the sail hanging height . This allows you to easily adjust the fabric inclination angle to weather conditions, time of day or preferred shade level. Such adjustment also allows to obtain the appropriate slope , necessary for rainwater drainage, and ensures full comfort of use – both on terraces and in open garden spaces. ANTI-CORROSION The mast is made of steel protected with a powder coated coating , which ensures high resistance to rust, moisture and changing weather conditions . This ensures the structure remains durable and aesthetically pleasing even after many seasons of outdoor use. The sail can be attached partially to existing structures (walls or masonry) and to the mast. Please note that the attachment point must withstand the tensile force of the sail. For optimal tension and stability, the mast should be tilted in the direction opposite the point of intersection of the sail axis at an angle of approximately 10°. Plan appropriate spacing to ensure constant sail tension. During installation, remember that every sail requires a reserve of tension. A tensioning element should be placed between the mounting point and the stainless steel ring located in the corner of the sail to ensure proper tensioning of the sail. The minimum size of the tensioning element is 35 cm. The sail should be tightened regularly to ensure the material is constantly taut and maintains its properties. Be sure to plan the corner at a lower height than the others to allow for proper rainwater drainage and prevent water pockets from forming. A minimum slope of 20° is recommended.
