【Important Notice for International Buyers – Tomoayax Premium Audio Hi-Fi Japan】
■ Voltage Compatibility
This product is designed exclusively for use in Japan (AC 100V, 50/60Hz).
Many regions use 120V or 220–240V.
Using this product without a proper transformer in such voltage environments may result in malfunction, overheating, or serious and irreversible damage.
■ Plug Type
This product uses a Japanese plug (Type A or B).
A plug adapter may be required depending on your region.
■ Transformer Requirement (Very Important)
A transformer is required for safe use.
A plug adapter only changes the plug shape and DOES NOT convert voltage.
Using this product without a transformer may cause serious and irreversible damage.
■ Buyer Responsibility
As this is high-end audio equipment, the buyer is fully responsible for confirming compatibility with their local voltage (100V / 120V / 220–240V) and usage environment before purchase.
■ No Return / No Refund Policy
We do NOT accept returns or refunds for:
・Voltage mismatch (including 120V and 220–240V environments)
・Use without a transformer
・Plug incompatibility
・Damage caused by improper setup or usage
■ Liability
We are not responsible for any damage, malfunction, or performance issues caused by improper use or incorrect voltage conditions.
■ Final Notice
Please ensure full understanding of the above before purchasing.
Use only under the correct voltage environment.
A 2-loop switcher that allows switching between A and B with a single switch operation.
MIDI not only transmits signals but also supports pass-through processing of signals input via MIDI IN.
It is also possible to control the loop state of TRIGGER2 via external MIDI.
You can switch amplifier channels and perform other operations using the control terminals.
The TRIGGER2, a popular 2-loop switcher that allows A/B switching with a single switch operation, has been significantly upgraded with enhanced functionality. The new TRIGGER2, with its compact body and powerful features, includes not only the selectable switching modes found in the previous version, but also LED lighting modes, MIDI and stereo cable control, and a highly visible OLED LCD display. MIDI support includes not only transmission but also pass-through processing of signals input via MIDI IN. It's also possible to control the TRIGGER2's loop state via external MIDI, and MIDI transmission and control terminal control corresponding to the loop state are simultaneously invoked, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. ■Switcher Allows switching between on and bypass of effects pedals connected to LOOP-A and LOOP-B. Connect the effect pedal's INPUT to the SEND and the OUTPUT to the RETURN of the TRIGGER2 (hereinafter, this unit). The internal connection order of this unit is LOOP-A → LOOP-B. A mechanical relay is used for switching.
It employs a true bypass system that does not go through active circuits. ■PNS (Pop Noise Suppressor) In effect pedals in general, not just this unit, a noise called pop noise may occur when switching bypass. The volume will vary depending on the characteristics of the connected equipment and circuit, but a momentary noise such as a pop or snap will occur when switching. This unit is equipped with a PNS function, and by turning this function on, you can reduce pop noise. The cause of pop noise is a combination of various phenomena such as sudden changes in signal level, the switch contacts becoming open, and changes in current consumption, so we cannot guarantee that you will always feel the effect, but it is highly likely that you will get a significant reduction effect, especially when dealing with high-gain sounds where a large amount of noise occurs. It is on by default. If a small pop noise occurs due to PNS, such as when switching only passive signals, please turn it off. ■Switching Type This unit allows you to select from the following three switching types. ・INDIV
IDUAL (displayed as INDIVID on the main screen) This mode allows you to individually turn LOOP-A and LOOP-B on and off. ・A/B/OFF The loop on which the switch is pressed is turned on, and the other loop is bypassed. You can switch between A and B in one operation. Pressing the on switch again will bypass all loops. ・A/B/A+B The basic operation is the same as A/B/OFF, but pressing the on switch again will turn on all loops. ■LED lighting type ・ON:BLUE / OFF:RED Blue light when loop is on, red light when bypassed ・ON:BLUE / OFF:OFF Blue light when loop is on, off when bypassed ・ON:RED / OFF:OFF Red light when loop is on, off when bypassed ■Control of external devices via control terminal You can control amplifier channel switching, effect pedal on/off, etc. by connecting a stereo or mono phone cable to the control jack. When connected with a stereo cable, it is possible to switch both TIP and RING on and off, and with a mono cable...
In this case, only the on/off of the TIP is controlled. The control terminal settings can be saved as presets for each of the four loop states. ■Controlling TRIGGER2 via MIDI External devices can control TRIGGER2 by sending a program change number. ■MIDI transmission and pass-through processing Similar to the control terminal control, MIDI transmission settings are saved as presets for each of the four loop states, so a total of up to 4 presets can be saved and recalled. Therefore, in A/B/OFF and A/B/A+B modes, 3 presets can be recalled. Up to 8 sets of MIDI messages (MIDI-1 to MIDI-8) can be saved within each preset, so up to 8 external devices can be controlled. Also, signals for all channels (1 to 16) received from MIDI-IN are automatically passed through to MIDI-OUT. ■Specifications ・Input/Output terminals: INPUT, OUTPUT, LOOP-A SEND, LOOP-A RETURN, LOOP-B SEND, LO
