Tea paste can be categorized into two forms: frosted and non-frosted.
The former commands a higher price and superior quality than the latter.
Tea paste (known as Pu-erh Tea Paste in English) originated in the Tang Dynasty, crafted from Pu'er tea leaves. Only about 200 grams of tea paste can be produced from each kilogram of tea leaves.
For every 150 milliliters of water, use just one piece of tea paste, which can be brewed 2 to 3 times.
