1. Structural Efficiency

Bulldog spike rings enable connections to be designed using fewer tie bolts, allowing for proper spacing between bolts and from the wood edges. This increases the stability and security of the structure while reducing the risk of material damage.

2. Versatile Applications

The product is available in double-sided versions for wood connections and single-sided versions for wood-to-steel connections, making it suitable for a variety of structures and materials, including solid wood, composite wood, and laminated wood.

3. Anti-corrosion protection

The steel used to manufacture the rings is electrolytically galvanized with a thickness of 275 g/m2 (20 µm), which provides excellent corrosion protection and extends the product's life even in harsh weather conditions.

4. Durability and connection strength

Bulldog barbed rings provide strong and durable connections, which is crucial for structural elements requiring high load-bearing capacity. They also enable easy disassembly, which further increases the functionality and practicality of use in various construction and renovation projects.

5. Service class

Characterized by material moisture corresponding to a temperature of 20°C and a relative humidity of the surrounding air exceeding 85% only for a few weeks a year.

Application and method assembly

• Designed to connect wooden elements to increase the load-bearing capacity of the screw connection in structural elements.

• Installation takes place when tightening the screw, the teeth are pressed into the wooden element. Mounting the screws always requires two washers.

• DoP- h10/0007

• EN 145454: 2008

Guarantee of the highest quality. This standard specifies requirements and test methods for materials, geometry, strength, stiffness, and durability (i.e. corrosion protection) of fasteners used in load-bearing wooden structures.
