The Bus Collection Open Package is introducing a new series of jointly operated routes, where multiple companies run the same route. The first in the series is the Shibuya 24 route, which recently made headlines when Odakyu Bus discontinued service there. The Shibuya 24 route was jointly operated by Tokyu Bus and Odakyu Bus, running from Shibuya Station via Dogenzaka-ue towards Sangenjaya, passing through Kamimachi, Nodai-mae, and other educational facilities before connecting with the west exit of Seijo Gakuenmae Station. The route has a long history, having begun as a joint operation in the 1950s, making it approximately 72 years old this year. As of July 1, 2023, Odakyu Bus will withdraw from this route, and it will be operated solely by Tokyu Bus. This product is a memorial set that looks back on the time when they were jointly operated. The vehicles are based on the flat-profile, non-step buses of both Tokyu Buses, bus number T480 (KL-MP37JK), which served briefly at Tokyu Bus Tsurumaki Depot, and bus number 05-D6042 (PK-MP37JK), which served at Odakyu Bus Komae Depot.
